Permission was granted for the building of 28 new houses and flats on the site of the old St Mary's Church Glebe Land.
We were pleased to be appointed as EA on this project as we have good experience on similar projects in Portsmouth. The development was built under a JCT design and build contract with standard amendments.
The scheme is named after Bill Sargent, vicar of St Mary’s Parish who, until his death in 1989, was the founder of Portsmouth Housing Association.
The construction is a combination of steel and timber frame, creating a very attractive development in the heart of the city.
